Qi Gong "Life Energy Cultivation"

with Dawn


Qi Gong is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation used for health, spirituality, and martial arts training. With roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi (chi) or what has been translated as "life energy".

Qigong practice typically involves moving meditation, coordinating slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and calm meditative state of mind. Qigong is now practiced throughout China and worldwide for recreation, exercise and relaxation, preventive medicine and self-healing, alternative medicine, meditation and self-cultivation, and training for martial arts.

No experience needed to attend. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the start of class in loose comfortable clothing.

In this restorative class all the poses are restful, available, and sweet. We start with a series of warm ups and then move into a series of soothing poses deeply supported by blankets, blocks, bolsters, and chairs offering the opportunity to linger and open up effortlessly.
Yoga Fusion - Julie


A combination of the best of anusara, iyengar, and vinyasa.  A flow class focusing on fundamentals of the postures to safely move through your practice from the ground up. Great for the advanced beginner and the seasoned practitioner who wants to move on to the next level.  Level 1-2

Gentle Yoga - focuses on breathing exercises & stretching & toning muscles that are often neglected, but so important to keeping you healthy & mobile. And best of all, Gentle Yoga is easy enough for beginners. Who should attend this class series? Beginning yoga students, pre- natal yoga students, students with physical limitations. Perfect Healthy Back Class.


Slow Flow Yoga - Dawn


This mixed level class focuses on relaxing, unwinding, and rejuvenating the body and mind while connecting movement and breath in a slow steady flow.  Open to all levels, beginners encouraged!

Restorative Yoga with Sound Healing with Dawn

Each pose creates specific physiological responses that are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of stress related diseases.  
Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Norma


Vinyasa Flow is suitable for all levels. This rejuvenatimg practice emphasizes breath and movement to relax body & mind. Sun Salutations and creative flow sequences, correct training and correct posture will develop flexibility allowing you to feel more comfort within your body

Foundational Yoga - Lisbeth


This is a gentle vinyasa class combining the styles of anusara and iyengar. Working on the fundamentals of foot placements and spiralic action of the muscles using props for modifications. Great for the beginner and also the seasoned yogi that wants to fine tune their practice.
Core of Yoga - Lisbeth
Core work can help improve your yoga practice and….. Your life! 

The abdominal region of the body is the center of our balance and strength. It supports us physically in our practice and spiritually in our lives. This class is NOT just a class about "crunches". It is a class about applying our abdominal muscles into our poses and tapping into the "gut feeling" we all have within us.

Learn how to incorporate a strong focus on the core through uddiyana bandha and asanas focused on this area of the body. 
Abdominal strength improves nearly every pose offering balance and ease and when you step off the mat it helps you with posture and protection of your back in other areas of your life. 
We will also include focus on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th chakras integrating mind, body and spirit.
Mixed Level Yoga - Lisbeth
A mixed level vinyasa style class open to all. This class focuses on the foundations of asanas and applies them to creative flows opening the the hips, strengthening the back, increasing balance  and opening the heart .

Please show your interest by registering for upcoming class series. Classes are presented based on attendance. A minimum number of students are needed to present classes. Please call 973.875.5433 to register.


Please arrive 10 min prior to the start time of class for your benefit and others around you. Late arrivals will not be granted entry once doors are closed.
